Redbrook is situated in the stunning lower Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, about 3 miles south of Monmouth and 13 miles north of Chepstow on the A466. It is a small community of about 500 people, many of whom are active on behalf of the several village groups and involved in village activities, such as music festivals, football, social events, charity events and auctions, Regular events such as live music take place each week in the two local pubs, a monthly film club in the village hall and annual events like the Burns Night Supper. Dance and Yoga classes are also held weekly at the village hall.
Redbrook is mostly about people, many of whom meet regularly both socially and on committees formed to look after various village interests. The village is proud of it's history and industrial heritage. It has a small but well supported primary school and a number of charities to look after local buildings such as the church and the village hall and assets such as the millennium green and the football ground which are lovingly maintained for use by the community. There are links on our web page to each of these, our village shop and our fishing club as well as local businesses. Please use this site to find out more about our community and the many events taking place both weekly and annually.
To this end we have provided a local diary of regular events and a calendar which will display major events taking places in the village throughout the year. Feel free to come and join us and to help us keep Redbrook the vibrant and interesting community it has become. In 2017 Redbrook featured in Channel 4's 'Village of the Year' I
